A LITTLE BREAK

I am sorry I haven't been around lately. I have been able to peek in every so often, but, I had a little surgery. I am okay...not to worry. Its the mending that threw me a little. All that anesthesia---yuk! I much rather have a few shots of tequila :) I won't go into it except that it is nothing related to motorcycle riding. Just something I have been putting off and now its over. So I just wanted to touch the blog base here and hope to catch up on every one's Summer ride fun!

Just a note... I know I am to meet a couple of you at Sturgis. At this point, I am not sure I am going because of a couple of things. The house we were to rent is a no go, unfortunately. Betsy is still trying to figure out the situation. Its harder on her since she hasn't missed a Sturgis in more than a couple of decades. She still is working on a single room and may grab it. I hope it all works out for her, and it will...the way it is suppose to work out. Also, my surgery was more debilitating than planned and my back muscles need more training to get in shape to stay on the bike for a long ride. I have thought about trailering and may do so still if a house comes into play... all depends. I have decided to go with the flow of the Universe, as they say. If it's meant to be then I will be there and will be sitting with you at the saloon having a great blogger reunion time! If it's not meant to be, then simply there will be another time. I can't suffer over it. Sturgis will happen next year too. I much rather have a relaxing, decent ride and enjoy my old self going there, being there and riding home than working so hard to make it all happen. So my thought is to train by riding back and forth from Northern California to Southern California. Test my back out and get it stronger for rides. In any case, and whatever happens, I am okay with it. I know I will be reading and living vicariously though all you that go.

On another note, the WROC group is having a meet and greet ride this Sunday, the 12th. WROC will be meeting at Chrome & Coffee in Fullerton for a kickstands up 10:30 a.m. time, for a ride that ends up at Orginal Mike's in Santa Ana. If any of you are local...join us. Just a fun ride. Hope to see you. I plan to go and hopefully I can ride. I haven't been on the bike for almost 4weeks now. Today I am going to test the URAL out to see how that fairs. Wish me luck as I suck it up. In any case, ride or not, I will be there to meet and greet and enjoy Orginal Mike's and take pics as they ride in.

So there is a little update. I am going to poke around the blogs and see what's happening and look forward to catching up!

Til Next Time,

KT DID

Glad you are back. I was getting worried about you and Murray. Hope it wasn't anything life threatening and that you have a full mend.

I sure hope you are able to go but if you can't I understand. We'll meet up one of these days one way or another! :)

Hope your back gets to be 100% very soon!

You need to take the time to recover, and feel completely ready. Can't rush these things.

Glad to hear you doing better and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Sorry to hear about your Sturgis plans. Bummer.

There's always next year. In the meantime... ride on sista!

Glad you're on the mend. I was wondering where you got off to. Like everyone else has already stated, Sturgis happens every year...no worries. I wish we could go, too, but it's just not in the cards this year. Maybe next year.

Feel better!

I've been thinking about you. I'm glad that you're (relatively) ok. :) I hope the rest of your recovery goes smoothly.
Sorry about Sturgis, but you have a good attitude about it. Sulking wouldn't help any anyway!
Be safe!

#1 is to heal. You don't do right by yourself and riding could become a pain.

You always have and always will kick ass in my book.

You just needed to get this booty service out of the way. Soon you're gonna be set to hit asphalt again. It's going to feel all new again. You have alot of miles to ride.

Glad to hear you are still around. Heal up and we will see you soon.

Good to hear, KT. Had my own bought of surgery just over a month ago and I can only now say I'm 100%.

Take your time, heal right and you'll be spinin' those two wheels soon enough.
